The creation of the material nature is falsely understood by the scientists as the Big Bang. These people believe that the entire material world was generated by the explosion of a single point of infinite density and temperature. But something cannot be created from nothing. How can a point, which means an object of no measurement or volume, have infinite density and temperature? The argument seems to refute itself. Now let's talk about the explosion. Think of Michelangelo's famous sculpture, The Pity (or Pieta). To create such a detailed and beautiful sculpture, there needed to be the material to create the sculpture and then an intelligent person to carve the material. Without the creator, the marble is just marble. It cannot create itself into a magnificent sculpture. If one applies the Big Bang theory to this scenario, the block of marble would have been incinerated, definitely not turned into a sculpture. Hence, how can a perfectly ordered universe be the effect of such a catastrophe? It cannot. Therefore we have to understand that behind the creation of the material world is also a supremely intelligent creator.

In Sri Isopanisad, the invocation prayer is:

oṁ pūrṇam adaḥ pūrṇam idaṁ

pūrṇāt pūrṇam udacyate

pūrṇasya pūrṇam ādāya

pūrṇam evāvaśiṣyate

“The Personality of Godhead is perfect and complete, and because He is completely perfect, all emanations from Him, such as this phenomenal world, are perfectly equipped as complete wholes. Whatever is produced of the Complete Whole is also complete in itself. Because He is the Complete Whole, even though so many complete units emanate from Him, He remains the complete balance.” This verse perfectly explains why Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and is the creator and maintainer of the material world. Our well ordered material nature can only be created by someone who has such intelligence. Krishna.

So how was this material nature actually created? This phenomenon is explained in the Srimad Bhagavatam 3rd canto, 6th chapter. “The Supreme Powerful Lord then simultaneously entered into the twenty-three elements with the goddess Kālī, His external energy, who alone amalgamates all the different elements.” The 23 elements are all of the elements which matter is consisted of. These elements are the senses, the working senses, the sense objects, the elements of nature, then evacuating organs, genitals, and speech and mind. These elements could not have been combined by themselves, therefore Lord Krishna enters these elements. Now, for us to be living human beings, there need to be 25 elements. These last two elements are Lord Krishna (paramatma) and then the soul (jiva). Now, just like how Michaelangelo’s carving techniques and strokes were present on The Pity, Krishna shows up in us as paramatma. The cause is in the effect. This is the proof that Lord Krishna creates and maintains the material nature.

The Big Bang theory is false because…

  1. It says that something can be created from nothing.

  2. It says that matter creates itself, because there is no innate creator behind it.

  3. It says that nature can create itself even though it is explained in the Vedas that the elements can only be activated by Krishna

  4. It shows that the cause is not in the effect because the effect of an explosion cannot be a impeccably organised universe.
