HOW PLANETS FLOAT IN THEIR ORBITS:

  1. The mass and density of the planets is including the balance of earth air, water, fire and ether.

  2. Manipulations of the air: The explanation of a floating cloud.

  3. Manipulations of the air: The explanation of the flying syena eagles.

  4. The variations of heat and cold (or low and high density) which produce wind.

  5. Mystery point: Air exists in space.

  6. The karma of the living entities (the planets are also living entities).

  7. The explanation of the bulls being yoked to the post.

  8. MAIN POINT: Happens according to the order of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Scientific explanations of points 1, 2 & 3, 4,7:

  1. The mass and density of planets: The mass and the density of the planets are what cause the planets to orbit. Here is an explanation of the process. The general definition for an orbit is the path an object follows around another object. However, scientifically there is a lot more depth in how different celestial bodies orbit one another than just a simple definition. The orbiting of an object is based on two things: the gravity of the objects and the velocity of the objects. When the mass of an object is greater than the other object’s mass, the object with more mass pulls in the smaller object into an orbit, due to greater gravity. However, if the velocity of the object is just correct, then instead of orbiting the greater object, the object would miss and keep shooting off into space, or would crash into the larger planet, depending on its direction. So the combination of gravity and velocity is what creates an orbit. One might wonder why planets don’t just fall out of the sky. Albert Einstein gave an analogy to make it more understandable. He said that space is like a fabric and that gravity warps space. So when you place a bowling ball on a stretched fabric, the fabric will ben underneath the bowling ball. Now, when you place a marble on the same fabric, the bend of the fabric will cause the path of the marble to curve. There are many simulations of this analogy available on the internet.

  2. The manipulations of air: The scientists call the manipulations of air as the laws of aerodynamics. In short the concept of aerodynamics covers the fundamental forces of flight, and how things remain in the air. The process of flight for normal objects is lift, drag, thrust, and weight. These factors affect the flight of an object, according to science. So the scientists prove the flying of the syena eagles. The clouds, even though they carry tons of water float in the air. Scientists explain the phenomenon through the water cycle. When the water in the oceans get heated up, it evaporates and it goes up into the sky because it becomes lighter than the air. The water molecules are dispersed across the atmosphere, so the density is very low and hence the air able to support the water. When the water molecules form droplets and the water becomes heavier than the air beneath it, it drops and thus rain happens. This is the scientific explanation for the floating clouds.

  3. Variations of low and high density (hot or cold): Variations of low and high density in the atmosphere causes wind to move. This is when there is a hotter area in the atmosphere that is actually less dense than the colder area. Due to this, the hot air adjusts according to its locations and so does the cold air. Thus wind is produced. This is the scientific explanation for wind.

Yoked around a pole: the concept of the planets and stars being yoked around Dhruva star is directly correlated to the scientific idea that all the planets and stars are rotations around Polaris. In fact, the way scientists proved this fact was by looking at the angle of the Earth's pole which is actually pointing towards the Pole star (Polaris).
