According to a Buddhist website, the definition of meditation is, “Mediation is a means of transforming the mind… By engaging with a particular meditation practice you learn the patterns and habits of your mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being. With regular work and patience these nourishing, focused states of mind can deepen into profoundly peaceful and energised states of mind.” Buddhists say that meditation is transforming your mind to achieve peace and connect with the inner energy. Many Buddhists do not understand the philosophy correctly and hence their practices are all mayavadic. As an incarnation, Lord Buddha is the same as Krishna. The correct, clear definition of meditation is explained throughout the Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krishna. One example is from BG 12.2, “The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Those who fix their minds on My personal form and are always engaged in worshiping Me with great and transcendental faith are considered by Me to be most perfect.” Real meditation is actually fixing your mind on Krishna. When the Buddhists say that meditation is connecting with the inner energy, the inner energy is actually Krishna in their heart as Paramatma.
