According to scientists, gravity is the force that causes two bodies to become attracted to each other. Gravity is what makes someone fall back down after jumping. When a ball is thrown in the air, gravity stops it from flying away forever.

Every object has a gravitational pull. The strength of an object’s gravitational pull is defined by two main factors. The first factor is the mass of the object. The heavier the object, the stronger its gravitational pull. For example, the Earth’s gravitational pull is greater than the gravitational pull of a human being. The gravitational pull of human beings is so small that it is unnoticeable. When a person stands next to another person, they won't begin drifting towards each other. However, when a person jumps in the air, then they automatically get pulled down to the ground because the Earth’s gravitational pull is so much stronger.

The second factor that defines the strength of an object’s gravitational pull is its distance from the other object. Let’s take the example of the moon, the Earth, and an apple. When an apple is dropped, then it falls on the ground. Then how come the moon has not yet crashed into the earth? This is because of the distance between the Earth and the moon. Since the moon is so much further away than the apple, Earth’s gravitational pull has less of an effect on the moon. Additionally, since the moon is travelling so fast around the earth, Earth’s gravitational pull is not strong enough to stop the moon and pull it down.

Scientists use the concept of gravity to explain that matter has the ability to organize itself, but actually that is not the fact. Scientists use this to deny the existence of God and to reinforce the Big Bang theory but in actuality, matter can only become organized and transformed when there is an intelligence and a consciousness behind it. All these planets in the universe are not orbiting due to the gravitational orbits but due the direction of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
